There’s a rooftop bar where you can see Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. From this height you can also spot the Egyptian obelisk (Cleopatra’s Needle) across the park.

The Lake and The Boathouse in Central Park

The Central Park Lake is a calm setting with gently sloped banks. Rowboats are available for two at the Loeb Boathouse on the lake’s eastern edge. Sheep Meadow

Sheep Meadow is a large open lawn in Central Park. The area is suitable for sitting, relaxing, and picnicking. It is located mid-park between 66th and 69th Streets and remains one of the park’s designated open meadow areas.

Lincoln Center Plaza

Josie Robertson Plaza at Lincoln Center hosts seasonal outdoor programming during warmer months, including evening events that feature music and social dance. Activities rotate by date and year as part of Lincoln Center’s summer schedule. The Rink at Rockefeller Center

The ice rink at Rockefeller Center operates seasonally in the Lower Plaza from mid-autumn through early spring. Skating sessions run throughout the day and evening, with increased demand during the holiday period. Visitors who do not skate can watch from surrounding areas or nearby dining spaces that overlook the rink.
